Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site Tiler role based in the Greater Liverpool Area.
The Tiler will prepare surfaces, measure and cut tiles, and install a variety of tile types for walls, floors, and other surfaces in residential and commercial properties.
Daily tasks include mixing and applying adhesives, grouts, and sealants, ensuring accurate alignment and finishes, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
The role also involves reading plans or drawings, collaborating with site supervisors and other trades, and inspecting completed work to meet quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in tiling and flooring installation, with the ability to deliver precise and durable finishes.
- Experience working with ceramic tiles, including cutting, placing, and grouting for various surfaces.
- Capability in marble and mosaic installation, with attention to pattern, layout, and aesthetic detail.
- Knowledge of surface preparation, leveling, and appropriate use of adhesives, grout, and sealants.
- Previous experience as a tiler or in a similar construction trade; relevant vocational training or apprenticeship is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, follow site instructions, and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
