Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, safety, inventory management, labour utilization, and operational execution. This role is focused on achieving production objectives while strengthening systems, leadership capability, and operational discipline that support long-term success.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead daily plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, inventory, shipping, and labour allocation
  • Ensure production schedules are executed safely, efficiently, and aligned with customer commitments
  • Monitor KPIs including throughput, labour efficiency, downtime, scrap, and operational costs
  • Develop frontline leadership capability, accountability, and operational discipline
  • Support SIOP initiatives, capacity planning, and inventory management strategies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and production flow
  • Manage plant budgets, labour utilization, and cost-saving initiatives
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and teamwork
  • Support preventative maintenance and equipment reliability programs
  • Utilize ERP systems and operational dashboards to improve visibility and decision-making

What You Bring

Must Have

  • Experience in a plant management or manufacturing leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, processes, and equipment
