We’re recruiting for a Junior Staff Accountant to join a fast-growing, purpose-driven team. This full-time role, based in Boston, offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful work in a collaborative, global environment.
In this hands-on position, you’ll support day-to-day accounting and operational functions across both domestic and international entities, including those in the development phase. It’s a great fit for someone detail-oriented who’s eager to grow within a dynamic and values-focused organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations:
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, cash activity, and intercompany transactions
- Support consolidations and eliminations
- Assist project teams and fellow accountants as needed
Weekly & Monthly Tasks:
- Run weekly check payments via NetSuite and banking platforms
- Process travel and expense reports and ensure timely approvals
- Support internal controls and compliance
- Lead monthly close, including accruals, reconciliations, and fixed asset management
- Assist with budgeting, variance analysis, and partner reporting
Audit Support:
- Provide documentation and coordination for annual external audits
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting; 1–3 years of relevant experience or coursework (CPA not required)
- Proficiency in Excel with strong reporting and analytical skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
