This is a Senior Leadership position responsible for the successful delivery of the Markerstudy Change Portfolio, overseeing Head of Change Delivery roles and their teams.

This role is hybrid, based in Manchester, London, Southport, Stoke-On-Trent, Peterborough, or Portsmouth.

Typical Accountabilities:

  1. Change Portfolio Oversight
  2. Ensure the Portfolio is delivered safely and efficiently through appropriate Programmes and Projects.
  3. Oversee and manage Head of Change Delivery roles and their teams.
  4. Collaborate with the Director of Change Strategy and the Head of PMO to update the Portfolio structure.
  5. Monitor Portfolio performance against KPIs and take corrective actions.

Stakeholder Management:

  1. Build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  2. Establish clear responsibilities within the Change Leadership Team.
  3. Support teams in removing blockers and resolving escalations.

Assurance:

  1. Responsible for first-line Quality Assurance of deliverables.
  2. Work with the PMO to improve QA processes.
  3. Make decisions regarding project spend, invoices, and gate movements within delegated authority.

Risk & Issue Management:

  1. Partner with the Head of PMO to manage risks and dependencies.

Process Improvement:

  1. Lead initiatives to improve delivery processes and tools.
  2. Promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Other Responsibilities:

  1. Deputise for the Chief Change Officer as needed.
  2. Engage in professional development and industry innovation.
  3. Support team development and coaching.
  4. Perform other duties as required.

Skills & Experience:

  1. Experience managing complex Change Portfolios (£25m+).
  2. Leadership of Heads of Functions and Programme Managers.
  3. Delivery of complex change in relevant industries.
  4. Stakeholder communication skills at all levels.
  5. Knowledge of various Delivery Methods (Waterfall, Agile).
  6. Formal project management qualifications.
  7. Insurance industry experience (advantageous but not essential).
