JOB PURPOSE:

This position is a full-time role, focusing on the delivery and optimisation of Client Programmes across Air, Hotel and Ground. The role requires a coordinated approach to consulting, analytics and relationship management. This is a varied role requiring a team player with excellent project management, relationship, communication and analytical skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivery of project based, profitable Client Programmes for Consultancy Services clients across Air, Hotel and Ground
  • Provide consultative advice and information to internal stakeholders on the benefits for clients when utilising Consultancy Services
  • Work collaboratively with Reed & Mackay Sales and Account Management in the proactive identification of Consultancy clients
  • Conduct meetings with clients to identify requirements and agree on programme briefs
  • Present and sign off programme plans with clients including pricing
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders, outline and manage programme timelines to ensure effective delivery of completed programmes
  • Working with suppliers, negotiate and contract industry leading pricing and value add services to exceed client requirements and deliver ROI
  • Anticipate and identify challenges, overcome obstacles and communicate project progress to all stakeholders as required
  • Performance manage the on-going delivery and measurement of the completed Programmes with a view to ensure repeat business for Consultancy Services, remaining ahead of the curve, proactively addressing low performing areas with solutions
  • Build solid, long-standing relationships with key suppliers, plugged in at necessary levels
  • Attend industry events and product showcases as required
  • Achieve both individual, team and departmental based objectives

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • A high level of knowledge of the business travel industry is a requirement with previous experience of Client Programme Management/RFP Management preferred
  • A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and team player mentality is a must for this role
  • An outstanding communicator who is caring, passionate and shares a vision in developing strong relationships which will provide significant value to both Reed & Mackay, suppliers and to our clients
  • Verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, able to work independently and complete tasks to agreed deadlines
  • Excellent knowledge in Excel/PowerPoint
  • Confident ability to present and interact at all levels externally and internally
  • Strong negotiations skills and ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Knowledge and experience of any Hotel Sourcing Platform is an advantage
