Role Description
The Human Resources Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based at ATL’s facility in Foston.
This role provides day-to-day HR support to managers and employees, including advising on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Responsibilities include supporting employee relations cases, coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities, and assisting with performance management processes.
The Human Resources Advisor will help ensure compliance with labor and employment law, maintain accurate HR records, and contribute to HR projects such as policy updates, training initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
The role involves working closely with operational teams to provide timely HR guidance that supports business goals and a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, with experience providing advisory support to managers and employees.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of HR Policies and the ability to implement and communicate them clearly across the organization.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of Labor and Employment Law, with the ability to apply legislation to practical workplace situations.
- Candidates should possess proven Employee Relations experience, including handling investigations, grievances, and disciplinary matters in a fair and consistent manner.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards it), or equivalent HR certification, is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels.
- Experience in logistics, transport, or a similar operational environment is an advantage.
- Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office, with attention to detail and a confidential, ethical approach to handling data.
