Vacancies to be Filled:
- Night Driver Sunday to Thursday - £18.03 per hour
- Night Driver Drummonds shift at base - £18.03 per hour
- 4x4 Driver Inter-Factory Days - £41,728.60 per annum
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will:
- Deliver goods as per manifest sheet
- Obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery
- Complete daily defect reporting of vehicles and trailers
- Communicate with transport office staff and external customers
- Work as part of a team and be flexible to business needs
- Perform vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with DVSA regulations
- Comply with Health and Safety (SSOW) and related legislation
- Participate in the company's annual appraisal policy
- Unload trailers safely and efficiently, following H&S guidelines
- Occasionally handballing may be required in line with Manual Handling Guidelines
- Ensure vehicles are loaded safely and goods are secured
- Ensure secure parking and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Work using own initiative with a clear understanding of RTD and EU Regulations
- Understand responsibilities towards the company's Operating License
Essential Requirements:
- Class C + E Licence
- In-date Drivers CPC
- Digital Tachograph Holder
- Less than 6 penalty points on Class 1 Licence
Desirable Requirements:
- 2 years of commercial experience with Class 1 Licence
- Teamwork experience
- Tug experience/license
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries
