Hours of work: Varied start times, 9 hours per day.
Responsibilities:- Deliver goods as per manifest sheet.
- Obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery.
- Completion of daily defect reporting of vehicles.
- Communicate with Transport office staff.
- Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA regulations.
- Compliance with Health and Safety (SSOW) and other related legislation.
- Support, comply and ensure complicity with the company's Quality Policy Document and its objectives of delivering a profitable and unrivalled quality service admired by competitors.
- Participate in the business’s annual appraisal policy.
- Completion of defect reporting of trailers.
- Unload trailers in a safe and efficient manner taking in all aspects of H&S.
- Ensuring vehicles are loaded in a safe manner and goods are secured appropriately.
- Experience in Multidrop.
- Class 2 licence.
