The Role
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Stores Team Leader to manage the day-to-day operation of our engineering stores. You will ensure critical spares, tools, and consumables are available when needed, lead a small team, and maintain strong stock control and safety standards.
Location: Pirelli, Burton on Trent
Hours: Monday–Friday | 07:30–16:00
Salary: £32,052.80
Key Responsibilities
- Manage receipt, storage, and issue of engineering spares and consumables
- Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP
- Lead, train, and support the engineering stores team
- Carry out stock counts, audits, and inventory reviews
- Set and manage min/max stock levels and raise purchase requisitions
- Support maintenance, breakdowns, and shutdown activities
- Ensure compliance with H&S, 5S, and environmental standards
- Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Procurement teams
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years’ experience in engineering or maintenance stores
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of engineering spare parts
- Experience using ERP/CMMS systems (SAP preferred)
- Organised, proactive, and able to work under pressure
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths & English
