Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for project teams executing projects on time, on scope, and on budget while maintaining ATL values with the customer and throughout the ATL organization.
  • Leveraging engineers to take the lead on delivering the technical solutions for the project(s).
  • Leveraging project managers to lead out on project execution with activities such as planning, monitoring and control, executing projects, closing projects and risk management.
  • Resource planning and allocation to projects, including identifying when new resources are needed and hiring the right person to fill the requirement.
  • Work interdepartmentally to remove roadblocks for project teams.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of projects and employees to management.
  • Supports internal company initiatives such as continuous improvement projects and business process development.
  • Compiling, reporting, and presenting on project execution performance and status to varying levels of leadership, both internally and externally.
  • Coordinate with other Managers and the Functional team to ensure consistency in role expectations of direct reports.
  • Be an avid learner to ensure regular training for the team in topics pertinent to new and developing technologies, topics of interest, etc. related to the customer base and targeted market segments.
  • Regular proactive monitoring and reporting of performance of KPIs to ensure deviations are identified early and addressed and to ensure successes are recognized and celebrated.
  • Familiarity with the tools and processes used by subordinates to increase understanding of day-to-day expectations and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicating with global resources – flexible work schedule to accommodate early morning and or evening meetings.
