Who we are looking for: Unistrut is looking for an experienced Wickman/ CNC Setter / Operator to support our new project.
What you’ll do:
- Set and Operate Wickman lathe and ancillary equipment
- Set up, program and operate Wickman ACW 6-44 turning center.
- Produce parts at the correct rate and report any issues with achieving that rate
- Ensure machines are running to plan and achieves the production schedule
- Optimizes process & cycle times.
- Take responsibility for the quality of the parts produced
- Keep production and quality related records up to date
- Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area
- Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the role
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
- Performs Other Duties as Assigned
