Who we are looking for: Atkore UK is looking for a Rail and Infrastructure Business Development Manager who is responsible for engagement with consultants, specifiers & end users to establish specification opportunities within Rail, Tunnels and Transport Infrastructure markets.

What you’ll do:

  • Engagement with consultants, specifiers & end users to establish specification opportunities within Rail, Tunnels and Transport Infrastructure markets.
  • Focus time on HS2 project specifically representing all Atkore brands.
  • Ensure Atkore brands remain compliant with regulations in your specific market.
  • Make Technical and Quality aware of any upcoming industry changes ie. LUL.
  • Develop a market specific CPD.
  • Deliver CPD seminars, Lunch and Learn seminars into consultants and specifying engineers.
  • Follow specification right through to order placement utilizing BDM’s & RSM’s.
  • Maintain in Salesforce for pipelines, quotations & activity within portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of upcoming projects ensuring maximum exposure to Atkore product portfolio.
  • Gain an in depth technical knowledge of Cable Management systems, understand USP’s and apply this knowledge to consultants and specifiers.
  • Offer technical solutions to consultants and specifiers giving Atkore a market leading response.
  • Offer DfMA solutions to the market.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Hours of work: 37 hours per week working: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm & Friday 8:30am - 4pm.

Salary: Depending on experience.
