With approximately 3,900 employees and 65 manufacturing and distribution facilities worldwide, we manufacture electrical conduit, cable management systems, armored cable, metal framing, and security products and solutions.Who we are looking for:We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our Finance team at our West Bromwich site.Reporting to the Financial Controller/Finance Director, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust financial controls and providing valuable commercial insight to support strategic decision-making across the business.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to partner with operational teams to drive performance, improve processes and influence business decisions.What you’ll do:Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and supporting analysis.Produce weekly Profit & Loss reporting, sales and margin analysis, identifying trends and opportunities.Complete balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations across UK and Israeli entities.Manage the Fixed Asset Register, capital expenditure and depreciation accounting.Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning activities.Prepare month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.Support VAT, P11D, National Insurance reporting and statutory compliance requirements.Assist with internal and external audits and annual stock counts.Provide meaningful financial insight and business partnering support to operational stakeholders.Lead and support the Accounts Payable team, ensuring workloads and deadlines are effectively managed.Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting efficiency.Undertake any other reasonable duties consistent with the level of the role.What you bring:Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a Management Accountant or similar role, ideally within a manufacturing or multi-site environment.Proven experience preparing monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss reporting and variance analysis.Strong experience preparing and reviewing Balance Sheet reconciliations.Experience managing intercompany accounting and reconciliations across multiple entities.Experience preparing cash flow forecasts and supporting effective cash flow management.Experience managing Fixed Asset Registers, capital expenditure, asset capitalisation and depreciation.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data.Experience using ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage or similar).Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business.A proactive, collaborative approach with a passion for continuous improvement.Benefits:25 days annual leaveFestive shutdown at ChristmasCompanywide bonus schemeService and recognition awardsTraining and development opportunitiesCompany PensionLife Assurance 4x salaryDiscounted Gym MembershipEnhanced family friendly policiesFree annual flu vaccination vouchersEmployee assistance programme including a 24/7 GP service.Cash health planFree home cyber security trainingCycle to work scheme.Free onsite parkingWe are a Disability Confident Employer and are committed to ensuring a fair and inclusive recruitment process, if you do require any reasonable adjustments, please contact ukrecruitment@atkore.com.Atkore is committed to creating an engaged and aligned workforce that drives a collaborative culture.
