Reporting to the Benefits and Pensions Manager for the UK & Europe, you will play a key, hands-on role in delivering the pension and benefits strategy across the region. You will collaborate closely with the wider Total Rewards team and Senior Rewards and HR leaders, gaining exposure to high-level strategic initiatives while actively shaping the employee benefits experience.

Responsibilities

  • Report into the Benefits and Pensions Manager, support delivery and governance of the UK & Europe Defined Contribution pension strategy, including provider management, compliance tracking, and pension administration oversight.
  • Own all pension-related activity within the benefits portal, provider relationships, bi-weekly account meetings with benefits platform provider, and annual renewal activity.
  • Manage day-to-day pension operations, partnering with key stakeholders including brokers, pension administrators, and the Global Benefits Operations teams, and handling member queries and escalations.
  • Prepare and maintain governance documentation, reporting, and operational trackers across DC pensions and wider UK & Europe benefits as appropriate.
  • Provide operational support across UK & Europe benefits programmes, including health, protection, and wellbeing, as directed by the Benefits and Pensions Manager.
  • Own financial wellbeing activity, the financial education calendar, communications, and provider events, working closely with key stakeholders.
  • Manage life assurance schemes and death-in-service claims, acting as an SME on pension and life assurance interactions, and oversee the Bonus Waiver process.
  • Support pensions, benefits, and Financial Wellbeing communications and engagement, ensuring alignment with wider benefits communication timelines.

Qualifications

  • Solid grasp of how Defined Contribution pensions work including auto-enrolment rules and contributions structures, default funds and basic investment choices, retirement options, and governance framework.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits portal is desirable but not essential.
