As Associate Director Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of complex construction projects from inception to completion. Working closely with clients and stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple construction projects, ensuring successful delivery from feasibility through to completion.
  • Act as the key client interface, providing expert project management advice and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Oversee procurement, contract administration, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and consultants to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Manage project finances, cost control, and reporting to ensure profitability and value for money.
  • Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities and supporting client growth strategies.
  • Manage a team of Project Managers, supporting delivery, growth and internal development.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline (e.g., Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or Civil Engineering).
  • Chartered status (MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in project management within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC), and procurement methods.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
  • Ambitious and commercially aware, with the ability to support business growth.
