This role is for a results‑driven strategic leader who will lead with vision, plan with purpose, and drive growth that inspires. The Business Planning and Performance directorate is responsible for leading the definition and management of the consortium's strategy and priorities, ensuring risk management, setting budgets, commercial plans and stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities
- Set overarching direction for CPS and drive digital capability improvements to ensure successful delivery of contract hand‑back obligations.
- Guide the Performance Quality manage handback and contractual obligations.
- Ensure Enterprise Risk is communicated to executive level.
- Hold business leaders accountable, monitor performance and risk.
- Build strong working relationships with senior managers across teams.
- Demonstrate safety and wellbeing standards and inspire the team.
About You
- A relevant professional qualification; ideally Chartered/Incorporated status with a recognised UK institution.
- Demonstrable effective leadership skills to inspire teams, foster collaboration and drive innovation.
- Proven competencies in setting successful and aligned business strategies in a dynamic environment.
- Capability to deliver digital change leadership and Digital Information techniques in an infrastructure asset management environment.
- Proven experience delivering effective risk‑based decision strategies.
- Strong stakeholder relationship building skills.
- Excellent communication skills to translate vision, strategies and goals across all levels.
- Champion curiosity and continuous improvement, modeling change and risk management.
- Positive, energetic, project‑focused attitude and commitment to CPS leadership behaviours.
