Our growing Social Value Service Line supports our engagement with clients, our service offering and the communities we work within. As a result our team members gain experience of some of the world\'s largest and most challenging projects, working with a diverse range of clients and communities in different countries, and across many sectors including water, oil and gas, power, renewables, infrastructure and the built environment.

AtkinsRealis are looking to appoint a Social Value Consultant to support the development of Social Value Consultancy Services within our UK & Europe business. We are flexible about the sector you come from as it is more important to us that your experience and drive comes from wanting to create better communities for everyone, in environments that we all want to live in and be a part of.

This role is intended to be a full-time role however if you are interested in part time working, please do speak to us. The role will require you to be in the office/on site a minimum of 3 days per week and regular travel. There is flexibility to work from home up the remaining two days per week.

Your role

You Will Need To Be Able To

  • Create and maintain strong relationships with our clients\' promoting Social Value services and other services from within AtkinsRéalis.
  • Develop, manage and deliver Social Value delivery plans for clients and project teams.
  • Plan and run Social Value programmes/activities including managing of community partners and engagement with key stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively across the business and with joint venture partners.
  • Play an active part in business development for the team – including network building, identification of opportunities, bidding, client presentations.
  • Support procurement and management of suppliers and support supply chain engagement and upskilling.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Demonstrable industry experience in delivery of social value activities and programmes.
  • Passionate about social impact and ensuring communities have a real say in shaping our projects.
  • A strong technical understanding of the Social Value landscape in England, economic impact, environmental management, corporate responsibility or sustainability.
  • Able to demonstrate commercial awareness and business development skills
  • Proactive and confident, a team player but also able to work independently.
  • A finisher, paying attention to detail and understanding that there are boring bits too.
  • Able to write bids and has creative thinking for social value responses to win work.
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking and change.
  • A relevant qualification in social/environmental/natural science or similar subject or demonstrable industry experience.

Security clearance

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview.
