The Senior UX Designer will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) across all digital products within our organization. The successful candidate will lead the creation and maintenance of our design style library, conduct workshops, and ensure the maturity and consistency of UI/UX designs as well as train our UI design team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of UI/UX Designs:
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for all UI/UX designs to ensure a cohesive and user-centric approach across all digital products.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align design goals with business objectives.
- Review and improve existing designs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of usability and accessibility.
- Overseeing the maturity and guidance of the Global Digital Delivery Hub UI Design team and applying consistency in delivery approaches.
- Organize and lead workshops to foster collaboration, creativity, and alignment among design teams and other departments.
- Facilitate discussions and exercises that promote innovative thinking and problem-solving in UI/UX design.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the design team.
- Create, maintain, and evolve the design style library to ensure consistency and scalability across all digital products.
- Establish guidelines and best practices for design elements, patterns, and interactions.
- Ensure that the design style library is up-to-date and accessible to all relevant teams.
- Drive the maturity of UI/UX design practices within the organization by implementing best practices and staying abreast of industry trends.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of UI/UX designs to identify areas for improvement and development.
- Promote a culture of user-centric design and continuous improvement within the digital organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering successful UI/UX projects.
- Experienced in leading Workshops such as Design Led Thinking, Empathy or Persona design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in UI/UX design and a deep understanding of design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor design teams.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Experience with user research, usability testing, and data-driven design decisions.
