Our growing Social Value Service Line supports our engagement with clients, our service offering and the communities we work within. As a result, our team members gain experience on some of the world's largest and most challenging projects, working with a wide range of clients and communities across many sectors including water, oil and gas, power, renewables, infrastructure and the built environment.

AtkinsRéalis is looking to appoint a Senior Social Value Consultant to support the development of Social Value Consultancy Services within our UK & Europe business. We are flexible about the sector you come from as it is more important to us that your experience and drive come from a desire to create better communities for everyone. This role is intended to be a full-time position; however, part‑time arrangements can be discussed. The majority of projects are in West London and the surrounding area, requiring onsite presence a minimum of three days per week and regular travel. Flexibility to work from home the remaining two days per week is provided.

Your role:

  • Create and maintain strong relationships with clients to promote Social Value services and other offerings from within AtkinsRéalis.
  • Develop, manage and deliver Social Value delivery plans for clients and project teams.
  • Plan and run Social Value programmes and activities, managing community partners and engaging key stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively across the business and with joint‑venture partners.
  • Play an active role in business development – including networking, opportunity identification, bidding and client presentations.
  • Support procurement and the management of suppliers and supply‑chain engagement and upskilling.

About You:

  • Demonstrable industry experience in delivering social value activities and programmes.
  • Passionate about social impact and ensuring communities have a real say in shaping projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of the Social Value landscape in England, economic impact, environmental management, corporate responsibility or sustainability.
  • Ability to demonstrate commercial awareness and business‑development skills.
  • Proactive, confident, a team player but also able to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to seeing tasks through to completion.
  • Capability to write bids and creative thinking for social value responses to win work.
  • Comfortable with multitasking and change.
  • Relevant qualification in social, environmental or natural science or similar subject, or demonstrable industry experience.

Security clearance may be required for this role. Offers of employment will depend on obtaining the relevant level of clearance.
