Responsibilities
- Design input to a range of projects including education, public realm, parks & greenspace, active travel, and design guidance.
- Prepare bids and contribute to work‑winning activities.
- Provide landscape advice to external and internal clients.
- Allocate resources in liaison with the landscape senior leadership team.
- Mentor junior staff.
- Support project delivery from feasibility through to construction.
- Undertake site surveys, design, assessment and write technical reports.
- Conduct hand drawings and other communication activities.
- Work within a multidisciplinary integrated team.
Qualifications
- Chartered Senior/Principal Landscape Architect with an excellent design track record.
- Relevant landscape degree.
- Extensive post‑Chartered experience in landscape role, ideally both public and private sectors.
- Experience managing and delivering multi‑disciplinary projects, preferably in the education sector.
- Proven experience in technical delivery and supervising projects on site (RIBA Stage 4 and 5).
- Excellent project management skills and proven ability to manage budgets.
- Consultancy experience and commercial expertise are advantageous.
- Competence in AutoCAD and Adobe software packages; experience with REVIT is beneficial.
- Experience with BIM and hand drawing communication.
- Strong communication skills, ability to draft reports and develop design information to a high standard.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines.
- Confident team worker, able to work with limited supervision, with commercial awareness and business development skills.
- Fluency in English and good interpersonal skills.
- Inquisitive approach and ability to work in a stimulating multidisciplinary environment.
