We have a strong pipeline of work as a national landscape practice across all sectors, and we are looking to recruit Landscape Architects to grow our team specifically in our Scotland region.
We have a vacancy in based in our Edinburgh office.
You will have the opportunity to take an active role on a large variety of challenging design projects.
You will collaborate with multi‑disciplinary design teams, using your insight and creativity to generate positive, sustainable, impactful designs.

We're looking for a skilled and passionate chartered Landscape Architect to with an excellent track record in design.
The role offers a wide variety of experience and provides an excellent opportunity for career progression.
Your role
Your role
- Working within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Landscape Design, supporting projects from feasibility through to detail design.
- An understanding of the principles of Su DS.
- Ability to report write, assist with contract documentation and site supervision.
- Technical knowledge, high‑quality presentation and communication skills.
- An understanding of project coordination and the financial management of projects.
- Input into work-winning activities and fee proposals.
- Provision of landscape advice to external and internal clients.
- Support and mentoring of junior staff.
- Familiarity with working in a quality assurance environment (desirable).
- Good proficiency in Auto CAD and Adobe software packages with a passion to explore the use of Revit, Sketch Up and Enscape as a design tool and for presentational outputs.
- Experience and an understanding of BIM and Revit (desirable).
- Communication through hand drawing is also invaluable.
About You
- Good communication skills, a fluency in English, with ability to draft reports to a high standard.
- Ability to work under pressure and have proven success in meeting tight deadlines.
- Confident team worker, able to work with limited supervision.
- The opportunity requires candidates to work both locally and within our national business to win and deliver work and with these opportunities there will be a requirement for flexibility in respect of travel and location based on project demands.
- Applicants should hold a full valid driving licence and must live within a reasonable travelling distance to one of our Edinburgh offices.
Site visits across the region will be required.
- A relevant landscape degree. At least two years' post Chartered membership of the Landscape Institute and post chartership experience in a Landscape role.
- Proven experience in technical delivery of all RIBA stages.
