Our large multidisciplinary team is one of the biggest in the UK, delivering water and wastewater infrastructure services alongside drainage design, SuDS and surface water management. Clients span the UK and internationally, including water companies, local authorities, highways/rail authorities, and developers. This is an exciting time for our UK Water business, with unprecedented investment in the water industry. We are recruiting a Senior Hydraulic Modeller to lead one of our hydraulic modelling frameworks for a leading UK Water Company in Liverpool/Manchester.
We are pioneers constantly innovating to tackle the world’s most pressing challenges – from enhancing rivers and urban landscapes to building sustainable cities in harsh environments. Over the next decade we plan to expand rapidly and develop enhanced training courses to accelerate staff capability. Your role
- Supporting the leading Storm Overflows Discharge Reduction Plan, flood alleviation and environmental solution development projects.
- Supporting the development and delivery of wastewater catchment strategies and solutions.
- Responsible for the quality of outputs and compliance with standards & specifications.
- Ability to manage and/or support project managers, to manage projects and programmes of works.
- Support in the development of tender responses and fee estimates.
- Supervising and developing staff and providing guidance to support their professional development.
- Contributing towards technical innovation.
About you
- Understanding of UK Water Industry and regulatory issues.
- Proven track record in coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects.
- Expertise using InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange.
- Experience in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning and solution development.
- Ability to check the work of others to provide quality assurance and drive continuous improvement in work delivered to the client.
