As a Senior Design Manager, you'll play a crucial role in design management on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad. We specialise in all aspects of the Water sector, delivering water services into sectors such as Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. We provide industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. If you're passionate about this industry, we'd love to talk to you. We currently have opportunities in our Manchester, Leeds, Belfast, and Glasgow offices.

Your Purpose

  • Deliver technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high quality.
  • Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
  • Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Understand, communicate, and manage project risks.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

What you can bring

  • Chartered Civil Engineer.
  • Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design and Design & Build.
  • Knowledge in water and/or wastewater treatment, hydraulics, water supply, and wastewater systems, with familiarity with UK standards.
  • Commercial, contractual, and programme management experience.
