Position Summary
We are looking for an ambitious Senior Clean Water Modeller with experience in the Water sector to join our dynamic Water Infrastructure team in Belfast. The successful candidate will help deliver successful projects to UK clients while managing junior members of our UK and overseas-based teams.
Responsibilities
- Run modelling and support design projects as the leader of a team including Atkins employees and client staff.
- Manage project teams from the Bristol office and other UK offices.
- Interact and provide guidance to overseas-based teams.
- Interact directly with personnel in client organisations, including face-to-face progress meetings.
- Investigate and resolve network issues.
- Build and maintain hydraulic models.
- Deliver technical reports and hydraulic studies.
Qualifications
- Highly motivated, competent, and analytical with significant experience in clean water network modelling, design and analysis.
- Excellent team player with own initiative and excellent communication skills.
- Management and technical supervision of a team of clean water modellers.
- Implementation of industry-leading solutions and development of innovative solutions.
- Clean water modelling and distribution networks; building and calibrating network models.
- Use network models for planning, operational and design purposes.
- Management of Detailed Zonal Studies delivery, Pressure Management and DMA Design.
- Supervision of report writing, checking and reviewing outputs.
- Experience with INFOWORKS WS, EPANET, Infowater and other modelling software.
- Project Management experience is preferable.

Security Clearance
This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
