What will you do?

  • Ensure quality-related project activities and services are implemented efficiently by contractors on construction sites, thus meeting the project-specific quality requirements.
  • Preparation and reviewing of Project Quality Plans and associated manufacturing / site documents
  • Preparing & reviewing Inspection and Test Plans with subject matter experts.
  • Continuous improvement by sharing your knowledge through training and regular coaching.

This includes - communication with our project management, site managers, internal specialist departments, document controllers, and the customer's specialist managers.

  • Ensure that the construction site organization and subcontractors adhere to the project and Linxon quality requirements.
  • Facilitate testing activities on the construction site in accordance with the project quality plan.
  • Identify non-conformances ensuring speedy close outs.
  • Participate in mitigating negative impacts on the projects and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Support the project teams with customer complaints, reporting them, and developing timely solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by sharing knowledge through training and regular coaching.

Qualifications

  • Relevant professional experience on HV substation projects and construction sites of varying size, complexity.
  • Previous experience working with National Grid
  • Exceptional knowledge of quality assurance and quality control.
  • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor
  • IT skills (MS Office, document management).
  • H&S'experience an advantage

  • Identify and resolve problems early on and work constructively to build positive customer and supplier relationships.
  • Communicate your messages coherently and clearly and have the assertiveness necessary for this role.
