Your role
- Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high‑quality levels.
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
About You
- Chartered Chemical / Process Engineer (preferably IChemE or CIWEM).
- Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Fundamental understanding and experience of integrated waste‑water and bioresources treatment process.
- Design and/or operational experience of main process unit operations: primary / secondary / tertiary treatment, bioresource treatment and disposal, odour and energy management.
- Experience of process safety techniques (HAZOP / DSEAR), capital and operational costs assessments, whole‑life carbon assessments as well as knowledge of UK environmental regulations.
- Awareness of process modelling techniques and software, e.g. BioWIn, SUMO.
