Bring your skills to the mix as an Associate Engineer in Waste Water Processing Engineering, you\\\’ll play a vital role in every aspect of process engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of process engineering, within the water industry, including waste-water and bioresources treatment, both in the UK and internationally, with opportunities in other sectors such as nuclear. We continue to provide industry-leading engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle from feasibility to process commissioning adding value through client-side support. Your Purpose
- Lead teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
- Defining briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Setting quality assurance standards in design.
- Grow, develop and manage process engineering capability within the practice.
What you can bring
- Chartered Chemical / Process Engineer (preferably IChemE or CIWEM).
- Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Comprehensive knowledge of process engineering considerations and their impact on project and operational risks.
- Leadership of teams on programmes of work and/or major capital projects.
- Experience of process safety techniques (HAZOP / DSEAR), capital and operational costs assessments, whole life carbon assessments as well as knowledge of UK environmental regulations.
- Design and/or operational experience of main process unit operations.
