Your role
We are looking for a well‑rounded Senior Quantity Surveyor with pre‑ and post‑contract experience on infrastructure projects, across any of the following sectors:
- Highways (National or Local Transport)
- Rail
- Energy (Nuclear, Renewables, Carbon Capture)
- Utilities (Water, Communication, etc.)
- MOD
- Aviation
We do not expect applicants to be experts in all areas of quantity surveying but require a drive to elevate their career. If you have the experience of a senior quantity surveyor and want to develop your skills by delivering projects for our clients and adding value through best practice and problem solving, a career within our Complex Infrastructure Commercial & Procurement discipline could be the place for you.
About You
- Quantity surveying or commercial degree or equivalent qualification.
- Working towards a recognised chartership.
- Experience administering the NEC suite of contracts and commercially managing infrastructure projects within at least one sector.
- Good knowledge of standard methods of measurement – Highways and CESMM – and procurement documents required in the preparation of an ITT.
- Understanding of construction techniques and technology.
- Experience managing medium‑size projects with little supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proven record of working within multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Curiosity for developing innovative, sustainable and cost‑effective solutions for clients.
- Experience compiling ITT documents, project and technical leadership, mentoring and coaching junior staff, developing client relationships.
- Interest in business and account management.
