We are supporting a confidential, global healthcare and specialist logistics organisation with the appointment of a Regional CFO to lead a significant European business unit with revenues currently in the region of £250m. This is a newly created role within a recently redesigned European structure, forming part of a broader strategic growth agenda - aiming to double in size in 3 years. The successful individual will operate as the financial lead for a high-performing and expanding division, partnering directly with the Regional Managing Director and connecting the region into a substantial international corporate matrix.

This is not a steady-state finance leadership role. It is a position for someone who wants to build, modernise and scale within a strategically important and profitable platform.

Our client is a major international group operating at significant global scale across healthcare distribution, specialist logistics and supply chain solutions. The European platform represents one of the most strategically important and commercially attractive areas within the wider portfolio. The region combines established operations with expansion initiatives across multiple markets, supported by significant board-level investment and ongoing M&A activity. The business is entering a new phase of structural alignment and regional empowerment, creating the need for a senior finance leader to provide clarity, governance and commercial direction across Europe.

Reporting solid line into Finance leadership and operating day-to-day as the strategic partner to the Regional MD, the Regional CFO will take full financial accountability for the European business unit. Key elements of the remit include:

  • Full P&L, balance sheet and cash flow ownership across the region
  • Ensuring robust governance, compliance and financial control across multiple jurisdictions
  • Leading and developing established regional finance teams
  • Acting as the principal financial partner and sounding board to the Regional MD
  • Supporting post-acquisition integration and structural alignment initiatives
  • Modernising finance processes, reporting frameworks and organisational design where required
  • Navigating and leveraging a large, international corporate matrix structure
  • Supporting ambitious regional growth objectives through disciplined financial leadership

This individual will combine strategic oversight with operational control - maintaining performance while shaping the next phase of regional evolution.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience operating at Finance Director / Regional CFO level within a sizeable, multi-country organisation
  • Exposure to logistics, supply chain, healthcare distribution or other operationally intensive environments
  • Experience working within a complex matrix structure
  • Strong executive-level partnering capability
  • Experience supporting integration, structural alignment or organisational evolution
  • A pragmatic, solutions-oriented leadership style - able to challenge constructively while enabling growth

Cultural fit will be critical. This role requires someone comfortable operating with ambiguity, shaping future-state structures and working effectively within a large international corporate environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary up to £150,000
  • 35% performance bonus
  • Long-Term Incentive Plan (RSUs) up to 50% of base salary
  • Company car or c.£10k car allowance
  • Additional benefits include: Enhanced pension contribution, private medical (family cover) & Life assurance

This represents a high-visibility European leadership opportunity with genuine long-term progression potential within an international group.
