As such we are recruiting NG BP141 (previously TP141) authorised engineers across all disciplines to join our vibrant team.
Disciplines: Commissioning Officer Protection & Control HV Plant Civils.
Contract Types: Full-Time Part-Time Contract Roles.
Location: flexible with core offices in Epsom Birmingham Leeds.
Your purpose
- Lead and execute works under National Grid BP141 authorisations ensuring full compliance with safety quality and operational standards.
- Coordinate and deliver testing and commissioning activities across Protection & Control HV Plant Civils and other relevant disciplines.
- Interface with project teams contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely and safe delivery of works.
- Review and validate technical documentation commissioning plans and test results.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities authorisations and safety documentation.
- Champion a culture of safety integrity and continuous improvement across all engineering activities.
What you can bring
- Valid BP141 authorisation or demonstrable experience working towards authorisation in any of the disciplines: Commissioning Officer Protection & Control HV Plant or Civil Engineering.
- Strong understanding of National Grid safety rules operational procedures and site protocols.
- Ability to interpret and apply technical drawings schematics and commissioning documentation.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Commitment to safety quality and continuous improvement in engineering delivery.
- Flexibility to work across different locations and project types with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
