Job Description
We are currently seeking Mechanical Engineers to join our Decommissioning & Waste Services (DWS) market within our Nuclear & Power business. This role is ideally based in Northwest England (near Whitehaven preferably) although other locations UK wide will be considered as we already have a team geographically spread (e.g., Warrington, Manchester, Glasgow).
You will join our Mechanical Engineering team who sit within a multidisciplinary engineering department, which includes, Civil Structural, Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, Engineering Management, Robotics, and Technology Solutions.
You will work in our market which is predominantly focused on delivering engineering and waste management projects for clients within the Nuclear Decommissioning sector, with some projects focused on other stages of the nuclear lifecycle. We have strong capabilities in mechanical handling, machinery design, UKCA Marking, design & analysis, and delivering collaboratively on multidisciplinary projects. We tackle projects that have varied engineering, nuclear and safety challenges, which requires proactive and mixed-skill delivery teams working collaboratively to deliver a high-quality solution. We strive to challenge the “it’s always been done this way” thinking to develop solutions that bring savings and better holistic engineering solutions.
