This role requires a proactive, organised, and persistent individual who can confidently liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, internal departments, and other third parties to obtain the information, evidence, and documentation needed to support project quality requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Quality Management System support by maintaining and updating quality procedures, policies, records, and documentation when required.
  • Update audit schedules, quality trackers, and supporting documentation to ensure actions and records remain current.
  • Track audit findings, monitor outstanding actions, and follow up with action owners to support timely closure of corrective actions.
  • Assist with document control by ensuring documents are submitted, reviewed, approved, updated, and issued in line with project requirements.
  • Collect, populate, and analyse quality data, including KPIs, defects, non‑conformances, and supplier performance information.
  • Prepare quality reports and dashboards for management when required, ensuring information is accurate, timely, and supported by appropriate evidence.
  • Log non‑conformances, support investigations, and follow up with relevant parties to obtain responses, evidence, corrective actions, and close‑out information.
  • Coordinate Inspection and Test Plans from suppliers and subcontractors, follow up on outstanding submissions, and help create check‑sheet templates when required.
  • Help compile work packages by obtaining required inputs, records, approvals, and supporting documentation from internal teams and third parties.
  • Liaise professionally with departments, suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders regarding quality issues, documentation requirements, and outstanding actions.
  • Issue predetermined drawing and document packages to subcontractors and follow up to ensure acknowledgements, responses, and required deliverables are received within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain trackers or registers for outstanding documentation, supplier submissions, audit actions, NCR responses, ITP reviews, and other quality‑related information requests.
  • Escalate delayed, incomplete, or poor‑quality responses where required, while maintaining constructive and professional relationships with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of quality assurance and quality control; a relevant quality qualification is desirable.
  • Experience of working with a civil engineering contractor is essential; experience on multidisciplinary civil and MEICA projects is preferred.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, document management systems, trackers, and registers.

Other specifications

  • All work and activities must be completed to a high standard, with consistent attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness of records.
  • Excellent communication and follow‑up skills, with the confidence to engage with suppliers, subcontractors, internal departments, and other stakeholders to obtain timely responses and required information.
  • Complete assigned tasks with a high degree of initiative, flexibility, persistence, and resilience, while always adhering to the Linxon Code of Conduct.
  • Maintain an overview of multiple information requests, remain calm under pressure, and act in a solution‑oriented manner when responses are delayed or issues arise.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage deadlines, trackers, outstanding actions, and stakeholder responses in a structured and disciplined manner.
  • Use professional judgement to escape overdue or incomplete responses appropriately, while maintaining positive working relationships and a collaborative approach.
