Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain project schedules and plans to ensure timely project completion.
- Prepare and analyze detailed project schedules using planning tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying potential delays or issues and proposing solutions.
- Conduct regular project reviews and provide status reports to senior management and clients.
- Analyze and report on critical path activities, schedule deviations, and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and best practices in project planning.
- Facilitate coordination meetings and workshops with project teams to align schedules and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Prepare and manage project documentation related to planning and scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling.
- Mandatory at least 3 years of experience working in Dubai or the UAE.
- Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, construction methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem‐solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CPP (Certified Planning Professional).
- Experience with cost control and budget management.
- Familiarity with local regulations and standards in Dubai.
