AtkinsRéalis are looking to recruit a talented Architectural Part I Assistant to join our growing Leeds team Architectural Practice. As a fully integrated multidisciplinary practice, you will be working alongside Architectural, Engineering and specialist consultants across a myriad of fields. Within the Midlands, South-West and Wales business, we have just under 500 individuals involved in the design and creation of the built environment in Education, Commercial, Energy, Defence and Residential sectors. Our Architectural staff include Architects, Architectural Technologists, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects and Building Surveying professionals with a balanced mix of graduates through to senior professionals and directors. People are the heart of our success and supporting, training, and mentoring our staff is paramount to AtkinsRéalis remaining at the forefront of design and innovation.

We are looking for candidates with a recognized RIBA Part I qualification who can have a passion for architecture and are hard-working, ambitious and have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude to every challenge and opportunity.

About you:

  • Contribute to the successful delivery of complex, small, medium and large-scale projects.
  • Consistency and accuracy in all work produced is essential for this role.
  • A portfolio highlighting your past projects is required as part of the application.
  • Are highly computer literate - skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite applications.
  • Possess excellent presentation and communication skills both verbally and visually using software and hand drawing skills.
  • Can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, organised and efficient with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively, efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Have a flexible approach to work with a positive and 'can-do' attitude.
  • Self-motivated and committed individuals with an ability to work within a team and independently.

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
