Atkins offers our Architects the opportunity to be a part of exciting projects working with a network of creative individuals all with the shared aspirational goal of design excellence. The role would be ideal for those looking to take ownership of their own projects to run from concept through to delivery. Our primary focus is to ensure our architects are challenged towards professional growth within a new team, exposing them to a multidisciplinary environment and client‑facing opportunities.
This role requires a recognised Part I or II qualification and the ability to work within a team to produce detailed 2D and 3D design drawings, concept sketches and presentation graphics. Self‑motivated and committed individuals who can not only be clear thinkers but also be a strong team player with a willingness to learn and improve are key. We are looking for individuals who can consistently contribute to the successful delivery of complex projects of small, medium and large scale. Consistency and accuracy in all work produced are highly desired for this role.
Highly computer literate, skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite applications. Excellent presentational and communication skills, both verbally and visually using software and hand‑drawing skills. Ability to work within a team effectively and deliver tight deadlines on time and on budget. The personal qualities required from the applying candidate should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, organisation, efficiency, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively, efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines. Flexible approach to work with a positive, ‘can‑do’ attitude, flexibility and openness of approach and willingness to work as a team player.
