Your role includes:
- Preparing document templates to a professional standard.
- Tracking project costs and producing finance reports.
- Ensuring accurate and timely invoicing is carried out.
- Maintaining databases and spreadsheets as directed by your Project or Contract Manager, for the purposes of project control.
- Being results orientated, inspiring, hard-working, and flexible, working well as part of any team.
- Exhibiting excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels.
- Managing and delivering to time schedules driven by submission deadlines and client demands.
- Maximising the use of tools such as Office365.
About you:
- Interest in Ecology and the environment and an understanding of how we can use ecology to engineer a better future through timely surveys and innovative mitigation and reporting.
- Understanding of the importance of timely reporting and the energy to deliver to deadlines.
- The ability to build strong relationships and support colleagues, displaying enthusiasm and a drive to grow, learn and develop within our organisation.
Essential requirements:
- Ability to work independently and to prioritise tasks.
- Sound Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
- Ability to show initiative to research information and data and to look for solutions to problems.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to converse with a wide range of clients and colleagues across a number of disciplines.
- A willingness to occasionally work flexibly from other office locations as required.
Desirable requirements:
- Experience of working within a consultancy industry for key clients.
- Previous experience of working in a project support role, supporting a project manager/director or team.
- Client engagement experience.
- Experience of working with remote teams to deliver common goals.
- Knowledge of planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project - not essential, but an advantage.
