Due to the growth of our Project Controls pipeline, we are seeking a Planner to join our Programme Services, Advisory & Controls (P‑SAC) Practice as a Planner to work on large programmes of work.

The role will require delivering planning, scheduling, and progress management service across a large complex programme, ensuring fully integrated, risk‑informed, quality‑assured schedules that support decision making, Earned Value Management, and programme governance.

Your role

You will have capability to develop, maintain, and govern complex, multi‑project schedules within an enterprise environment, to include:

  • Building and managing programmes, projects, and contractor schedules within Primavera P6 EPPM to consistent standards.
  • Structure schedules in accordance with approved Work Breakdown Structures, coding conventions, and Project Controls Management Plans.
  • Integrate Sub‑Project schedules into a coherent Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with cross‑project dependencies.
  • Maintain fully resourced and cost‑loaded schedules enabling accurate forecasting and performance analysis.
  • Establish and maintain formally approved schedule baselines for Sub‑Projects and the Programme.
  • Maintain a full schedule baseline register with version control and traceability.
  • Ensure all approvals, justifications, and impact analyses are recorded.
  • Manage Programme, Interface, and Critical Path Milestone Registers.
  • Ensure all milestones are kept up to date in P6 and the Document Management System.
  • Provide weekly analysis of milestone performance, variance drivers, and recovery actions.
  • Ensure clear visibility of strategic decision points and external dependencies.
  • Ensure schedules are resource and cost‑loaded.
  • Generate and interpret EVM metrics including PV, EV, AC, CPI, SPI.
  • Identify performance trends and variance drivers for monthly reporting.
  • Use dashboard (e. g., Power BI) to provide clear, visual insights for stakeholders.

You will be a confident communicator and have the ability to clearly explain complex schedule information to an array of stakeholders across functions and contractors.
