Responsibilities
- Operate within Engineering Project teams within Atkins Réalis or for clients as required.
- Ensure successful delivery of high‑quality engineering works to meet time, quality, budget and customer satisfaction requirements.
- Specify, design and implement PLC, DCS and SCADA based systems.
- Design instrumentation systems.
- Participate in diverse projects under senior supervision within a team.
- Utilize knowledge and experience of control systems and electrical control equipment in automated and safety‑related systems.
- Design, substantiate, verify, validate and ensure the safety of high‑integrity software‑based protection and/or safety‑related control systems.
Qualifications
- Experience in control systems engineering and electrical control equipment.
- Experience in safety engineering and functional safety verification and validation.
- Working towards Chartered Engineer status with a relevant professional body.
- Strong understanding of PLC, DCS, SCADA, and instrumentation systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle diverse projects.
