Role The Design Manager will oversee the delivery of multi‑disciplinary infrastructure projects from concept through to construction for the Midlands Southwest initiate client satisfaction surveys. Qualifications Chartered Engineer/Architect or equivalent with experience managing design commissions on large infrastructure projects. Experience across a range of construction projects. Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, verbal and written. Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate a team. Knowledge of and experience with construction contracts, particularly NEC3/NEC4. Experience preparing Scope Definition papers, Project Execution Plans, Risk Registers, Change Control Logs and Client familiarity with programming and earned value techniques. Familiarity with BIM and understanding of 3D modelling tools for design and coordination, and associated information attributes within the model.
