Overview

Are you an innovative civil or structural engineer or consultant who is capable of agile, lateral thinking and enjoys developing a wide range of different technical and management skills to deliver exciting projects? Do you aspire to develop in a niche industry utilising your technical experience in design, finite element analysis and assessment as well as your soft skills in client engagement and engineering management? Are you nearly or recently chartered with a recognised civil or structural engineering institution (IStructE, ICE or other) in your current job, but want to invigorate your career and bolster your portfolio with exciting new projects within a buoyant industry? We would enjoy supporting this transition with our skilled and experienced mentors and would like to hear from you.

We are looking for full time civil and structural engineers to join our growing team in our Epsom office to lead a wide range of new build nuclear projects including Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, SMRs and future fusion technologies. You will enjoy cultivating strong working relationships and developing your technical skills and management expertise to deliver outstanding results for our clients. You will be working a minimum of 3 days per week from a Power New Build office or client office.

Your role

  • You have a relevant level of professional experience which could be derived from civil‑structural design and analysis (steelwork and/or reinforced concrete), research and development, project engineering or design consultancy.
  • You can undertake and/or review the design of new building structures.
  • You can work collaboratively from our offices and across our client sites to understand clients\’ needs and deliver to time, cost and quality.
