Project Co-ordinator Ecology in Bristol

Your role includes:

• Preparing document templates to a professional standard.
• Tracking project costs and producing finance reports.
• Ensuring accurate and timely invoicing is carried out.
• Maintaining databases and spreadsheets as directed by your Project or Contract Manager, for the purposes of project control.
• Being results orientated, inspiring, hard-working, and flexible, working well as part of any team.
• Exhibiting excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels.
• Managing and delivering to time schedules driven by submission deadlines and client demands.
• Maximising the use of tools such as Office365.

About you:

• Interest in Ecology and the environment and an understanding of how we can use ecology to engineer a better future through timely surveys and innovative mitigation and reporting.
• Understanding of the importance of timely reporting and the energy to deliver to deadlines.
• The ability to build strong relationships and support colleagues, displaying enthusiasm and a drive to grow, learn and develop within our organisation.

Essential requirements:

• Ability to work independently and to prioritise tasks.
• Sound Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
• Ability to show initiative to research information and data and to look for solutions to problems.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to converse with a wide range of clients and colleagues across a number of disciplines.
• A willingness to occasionally work flexibly from other office locations as required.

Desirable requirements:

• Experience of working within a consultancy industry for key clients.
• Previous experience of working in a project support role, supporting a project manager/director or team.
• Client engagement experience.
• Experience of working with remote teams to deliver common goals.
• Knowledge of planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project - not essential, but an advantage.

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview.
