This role is for a Project Co-ordinator supporting the Manchester Ecology team. Joining us, you will have the opportunity to contribute to nationally significant and high-profile projects, with many of our projects winning awards for biodiversity enhancements, innovation, and knowledge sharing. Our ecology team also won the inaugural CIEEM Large-Scale Consultancy of the Year Award in 2018 and has been highly commended in the same award category each year thereafter.

Your Role
- Working on nationally important infrastructure projects.
- Working as a team to manage project programmes and budgets.
- Collaborating with internal AtkinsRéalis multi-disciplinary teams and undertaking stakeholder engagement.
- Planning and co-ordinating field surveys for a range of protected species and habitats.
- Task/project management.
- Working within your team and the wider business to facilitate project co-ordination, H&S procedures, and survey co-ordination including access arrangements.
- Use of financial systems to book travel/purchase equipment/manage budgets.
- Supporting Ecology project lead/team lead in non-technical tasks including review of incoming documents and data.
About you
- Proactive, organised and motivated individual.
- Understanding of project management including budget creation and financial management.
- Multiple workstream management with the ability to work independently and to prioritise tasks.
- Sound Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Ability to show initiative to research information and data and to look for solutions to problems.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to converse with a wide range of clients and colleagues across a number of disciplines.
- The ability to build strong relationships and support colleagues, displaying enthusiasm and a drive to grow, learn and develop within our organisation.
