AtkinsRéalis’ Digital, Data and AI Advisory team is growing, and we are looking for experienced, enthusiastic people who can help clients make well-informed choices about their technology and data landscape. Our work brings together strategy, systems thinking and practical technology insight to help organisations understand their digital maturity,identifyopportunities and risks, and make decisions that stand up to scrutiny.
Across our key markets, clients are dealing with an explosion of information and are struggling to harness their data to meet theirobjectives, whetherthat’simproving service performance, modernising critical assets, meeting regulatory or security expectations, or planning major investment programmes. Many of these issues begin as operational, organisational or assurance challenges, but success depends on how well data is governed, managed,sharedand applied. To strengthen our capability in this area, we are particularly interested in people with strong data management experience who can help clients build the foundations needed for better assurance, analytics, improveddecision-makingand responsible adoption of AI.
We aregrowing ourmultidisciplinary team drawn from consulting,technologyand data-focused backgrounds.You may be a data strategist, information architect, digitalconsultantor someone with broader experience looking to bring a stronger data lens to strategic work.Curiosity,systemsthinking and the ability to connect digital, dataandorganisational context are all important, along with the ability to nurture trusted relationships with colleagues and clients.
As aSenior Strategy Consultant, youwilldeliver Digital, Data and AI advisory services that turn insight intopracticalaction. Youwillleadprojects andworkstreams that shape strategic priorities, guiding clients through decisions that balance ambition with feasibility. Your focuswill beonaligning stakeholders around a shared vision and creating clear, actionable plans that deliver measurable impact. By combining analyticalrigour,strategicthinkingand an understanding ofclients’operating environments, youwillhelp clients prioritise investments and achieve outcomes that matter most to their business.
Your role
- Leadingprojectsandworkstreamsto deliver high-quality outputs, and ensuring recommendations reflect our values around inclusion,sustainabilityand social value.
- Working with clients to understand how data is created,governedand used across their organisation, andidentifyingopportunities to improve howstrategicdecisions are supported by data.
- Developing data-focused strategies, visions and roadmaps that improve data quality, strengthen governance and support future analytics and AI initiatives.
- Developing structured business cases and providing recommendationsthat help clients prioritiseinvestmentindata-related initiatives.
- Applying systems thinking to uncover the digital and data implications of challenges that may initially appear operational, technical or process‑led.
- Assessing organisational operating models and supporting clients in improving data ownership,stewardshipand governance arrangements.
- Working with colleagues across advisory, markets and technical disciplines to create approaches that link digital and data strategy toclientcontext and practicaldelivery.
- Contributing to thought leadership, knowledge sharing and capability development activities that strengthen the Digital, Data and AI Advisory practice.
- Identifyingopportunities to provideadditionalvalue to clients and supporting business development,proposalsand bid activities whereappropriate.
About you
- A naturally curious,collaborativeand practical consulting style, with the ability to understand client operating contexts and make sense of complex challenges.
- Strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills:able to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups, influence decision-making, communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and turn analysis into clear recommendations.
- An ability to act as a bridge between business, operational and technical teams, translating client needs into clear data strategies,roadmapsand practical requirements.
- Experience indata management, including data strategy, governance,stewardshipand approaches for improving organisational data capability.
- An ability to adapt and apply knowledge and experience across different industry sectors and client maturity levels.
- An ability to explainhow emerging technologies and modern digital approaches depend on trusted, well-managed data, and to apply this understanding when shaping data strategies,roadmapsand recommendations.
- An ability to apply ethical and responsible considerations when shaping data and digital recommendations, including how data is governed,usedand communicated.
- Anability to applybusiness architecture,data architecture,operatingmodeland organisational design conceptsto shape practicaldata and digital transformationrecommendations.
- Experience in one or more of our key markets—Defence, Aerospace, Security, Energy, Utilities, Highways,Railor the Public Sector is an advantage.

Security clearance
