As part of our growing team, you will help develop and deliver geospatial solutions that drive efficiency, support Net Zero targets, and enable digital transformation for our clients.
Our team has a wide range of specialities and backgrounds, allowing us to contribute to projects across the UK, Middle East, Canada, the United States, and Asia Pacific.
In this role, you will design and implement GIS solutions throughout the project lifecycle, supporting projects across infrastructure, environment, planning, and energy sectors.
Working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams, you will help identify opportunities, shape geospatial strategies, and deliver practical solutions that add value.
You will also have opportunities to further develop your technical and consulting skills, particularly in GIS automation and digital workflows.
We are looking for someone with experience in client-facing consultancy, delivering GIS solutions, and leveraging technology to improve processes and automate tasks.
You will be supported by an experienced and welcoming team, with opportunities for mentoring, professional development, and career progression.
The role can be based in Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, or London, with occasional travel to client locations across the UK as required.
Responsibilities
- Work as an effective member of GIS project teams.
- Produce high-quality GIS outputs that meet project requirements, quality standards and delivery deadlines.
- Design and implement GIS solutions for internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Develop, configure, and manage web mapping applications using both proprietary and open-source technologies.
- Deliver spatial analysis, data management, and geospatial services to support multidisciplinary projects.
- Undertake technical reviews for data, methodologies, analysis and project deliverables.
- Drive efficiency through automation using tools such as FME and Python.
- Promote the value of GIS and geospatial technologies across multidisciplinary teams.
- Support business development activities by identifying and delivering client-focused geospatial solutions.
- Manage the scope, delivery, and resourcing of internal GIS workstreams.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about using geospatial technology to solve real-world challenges and deliver value for clients.
- You Will Bring
- A degree in GIS, Geography, or a related discipline.
- Experience automating workflows using FME, Python, or similar technologies.
- A proactive and innovative approach to developing efficient, client-focused solutions.
- Strong experience with Esri technologies, including Arc GIS Pro, Arc GIS Online, and Arc GIS Enterprise/Portal.
- Experience administering mobile GIS solutions such as Survey123 and Field Maps would be advantageous.
- Experience delivering GIS services within a consultancy or client-facing environment.
- A proven ability to produce high-quality outputs while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
