The predicted salary is between 55000 - 65000 £ per year.

Own and direct a team of Electrical & ICA engineers for delivery of technical design work on complex multi-disciplinary projects.

Manage time and budgets of the Electrical & ICA team to key project milestones.

Direct and review technical deliverables such as Single Line Diagrams, Load Schedules, MCC specifications.

Provide technical leadership into project design deliverables for Electrical aspects of complex multi-disciplinary projects.

Collaborate with client and operational activities within your immediate team and other related teams.

Lead the growth of local Electrical & ICA team and wider technical network.

Support leadership and management of the D&AT team within the Manchester office.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Chartered Engineer.
  • Proven experience in leading or directing an Electrical & ICA engineering design delivery team for a design consultancy within a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in Electrical designs.
  • Extensive knowledge of water company design codes and standards such as WIMES.
  • Strong awareness of HAZOP assessments, lightning strike risk assessments, earthing and bonding, lighting designs, DSEAR and ATEX installation practices.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal technical guidance.
  • Experience in industrial and process environment is essential.
