As an Associate Director in Dams and Reservoirs, you will play a vital role in all aspects of dams and reservoir engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad. We specialise in all aspects of dams and reservoir engineering across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Energy, and Cities & Development. We provide industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. Your Purpose:
- Own and direct teams undertaking technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Define briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
- Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones.
- Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Set and maintain quality assurance standards in design.
- Develop and manage dams and reservoirs engineering capabilities within the practice.
What you can bring:
- Chartered Civil Engineer.
- Currently working towards or already a Reservoir Supervising Engineer.
- Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and/or geotechnical engineering related to dams and reservoirs.
- In-depth knowledge of UK design standards, guidance, and practices including the Reservoirs Act.
