As an Associate Director in Dams and Reservoirs, you'll play a vital role in dams and reservoir engineering on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic projects at home and abroad. We specialise in all aspects of dams and reservoir engineering across sectors like Water, Aviation, Energy, and Cities & Development. We provide industry-leading solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. If you're passionate about this industry, we would love to talk to you. Your Purpose:

  • Lead and oversee teams undertaking technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high quality.
  • Define project briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
  • Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones.
  • Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Establish quality assurance standards in design.
  • Develop and manage dams and reservoirs engineering capabilities within the practice.

What you can bring:

  • Chartered Civil Engineer.
  • Currently or working towards being a Reservoir Supervising Engineer.
  • Experience in delivering multidisciplinary design projects.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and geotechnical engineering related to dams and reservoirs.
  • Deep understanding of UK design standards, guidance, and practices, including the Reservoirs Act.
