The Product Lead is responsible for the end-to-end ownership of a Finance Systems process capability within the Finance Systems Product Team. Acting as the primary technology and business-facing leader for their domain, the Product Lead defines the product roadmap, manages the product backlog, and ensures technology investments deliver measurable business value. Working closely with Finance process owners, operational teams, architecture, engineering, governance and delivery teams, the Product Lead ensures solutions remain secure, compliant, scalable and aligned to enterprise standards. The role combines strategic product ownership with operational accountability, ensuring excellent service performance while driving continuous improvement, automation and process transformation. The Product Lead provides leadership to a multidisciplinary team of analysts and specialists and serves as the primary escalation point for business stakeholders within their capability area.Your role

  • Translate business goals into defined product outcomes, initiatives and investment priorities.
  • Simplify and modernise the capability while expanding adoption of Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion and associated applications.
  • Own and prioritise the product backlog based on business value, risk, regulatory requirements and operational demand.
  • Delivers minor enhancements and supports project delivery.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to Finance, operational and business stakeholders within the capability area.
  • Develop strong relationships with process owners, Finance specialists and global user communities.
  • Review incidents, recurring problems and trends to identify improvement and automation opportunities.
  • Maintain effective knowledge resources, operational documentation and support readiness.
  • Reduce technical debt and prevent recurring operational issues.
  • Maintain compliance with IT General Controls, audit obligations, data governance standards and enterprise policies.
  • Identify, control and mitigate product risks.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain a pipeline of opportunities to enhance processes, technology and user experience.
  • Drive standardisation and simplification to reduce complexity and improve maintainability.
  • Lead, coach and develop Product Analysts and Associate Product Analysts within the capability area.

About you

  • Ensure reliable service performance, availability, adoption and customer satisfaction across the capability area.
  • Prioritise and govern the capability backlog, balancing business value, operational needs, risk, compliance and technical priorities.
  • Coordinate the controlled delivery of changes and improvements within agreed scope, quality and timescales.
  • Maintain effective IT General Controls, audit readiness, data integrity and compliance with cybersecurity, data governance and enterprise standards.
  • Manage capability risks, technical debt, lifecycle priorities and recurring service issues, escalating where necessary.
  • Provide the Product Owner and key stakeholders with clear insight into performance, risks, dependencies and recommended actions.
  • Deliver measurable improvements in service quality, process efficiency, automation, standardisation and user experience.
  • Build a capable, collaborative team with clear objectives and development priorities.
    Strong functional experience implementing, supporting or optimising Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
  • Sound knowledge of IT service management support with ITIL certification.
  • Proven people leadership, analytical and problem-solving capability, with a track record of developing teams.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience leading an Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Fusion Cloud migrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile product management.
