Successful candidates will support decommissioning projects both in the UK and worldwide, working as part of multi-discipline teams. Responsibilities will include those detailed below, with opportunities to support other team members outside this discipline. • Working across projects, locations, and departments to solve complex problems with innovative solutions, supporting team development.
  • Business development, strategic decision-making, governance, and bid/proposal preparation.
  • Managing work packages, supporting delivery, and mentoring team members.

Requirements:

Ideal candidates will have experience in some of the following areas, but motivated individuals with related backgrounds are also encouraged to apply:

  • Application of characterisation processes (e.g., DQO) for radioactive and non-radioactive waste, including report writing and data processing using software like VSP.
  • Knowledge of radiochemical analysis, radiological fingerprints, instrumentation, and activity assessment methodologies, with software such as Microshield and Mercurad.
