We are actively seeking a Support Events Executive in Norwich, this role is full time on a temporary basis until end of June 2026 - offering an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer advice on resources and third-party suppliers to clients and colleagues.
- When briefing suppliers provide a clear understanding of the client’s requirements.
- Telephone/internet research to source suppliers, venues and/or other information relevant to a project.
- Processing all work via the in-house Event Booking system.
- Updating kit and stock records for client owned equipment on our in-house system.
- Occasional support for other teams – Event Support, Operations, Client Service.
- Working with relevant teams, including operations, workshop, creative, staffing, IT, finance.
- Playing an active support role on site at live events.
- Running ad-hoc errands quickly and efficiently.
- Being an all-round good egg – executing all of the above with a smile on your face and a spring in your step.
Experience required:
- Experience working in a fast paced admin role.
- Excellent communicator.
- Confident to deal with clients, colleagues and suppliers alike. Understand the correct method of communication i.e. email, phone, face to face.
- Time management - prioritise and manage your own job list. Ability to multi task. Seek guidance from colleagues to help your workload prioritising.
- Have excellent attention to detail. Ask questions whenever unsure.
- Be pro-active, always trying to think of the next thing, anticipate requests, be well prepared.
- Presentation - Use a professional tone on the phone and in emails.
- Driving – ideally hold a full clean driving license, some experience of driving cars and of travel around UK, comfortable driving different cars, safe and competent with good driving record (may need to go off site, or pop and get stuff).
